Terms and Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions carefully. They are not excessively demanding and are there to ensure safe trading between us. Nothing in these conditions affect your statutory rights.
All details of business terms, prices and descriptions of items offered for sale in this shop are are subject to change without prior notice and we may replace any previously advertised details.

Guarantee
All items advertised on this web site are of original period manufacture unless stated otherwise. We offer a money back guarantee on all of the goods supplied subject to the terms listed below.
Should you have any reason to dispute the description of any item purchased, you should contact us by e mail within 5 (five) days of receipt of the goods. The item can then be returned to us, provided that it is in the condition as sent in order to receive a full refund of the purchase price. If an item is not notified to us within this time, it will be considered as being sold. We regret that return postage costs are not refundable.
We supply items for collector's display purposes only and such items are not intended for actual wear or use. We do not guarantee the fitting of any clothing, footwear or headgear, nor their suitability for being worn.
The responsibility lies with the customer to ensure that any goods ordered are allowed to be imported into your country. If an item has to be returned because it cannot be imported to your country, we can offer other goods to the same value in exchange, less any return postage & import costs incurred by us, but are unable to give a refund.
Please note that although we make every effort to keep our website up to date it is possible that an item offered for sale may have been sold or become unavailable before we have updated the site. In this case we will advise you accordingly and return any payment made.
We must be informed by telephone or email that the item is to be returned as soon as possible after it has been received. In the case of United Kingdom based customers returns must be made within 5 (five) days of receipt. European based customers within 7 (seven) days of receipt. All other parts of the World within 10 (ten) days of receipt of order.
All funds paid by the customer with the exception of postage costs will be refunded. All items returned must be in the same condition as dispatched, If there is any damage, alteration, disassembly or tampering then Patriot Militaria reserves the right to decline to refund payment.

Availability of Goods
This web site is designed to show only items of stock that are still available for sale, but it is still remotely possible that an item could be sold during your visit to the web site. In the unlikely event that an item has been sold by the time that you place your order, we will inform you by return e-mail.

Payment
All non online payments must be made in GBP (£) Sterling and must be made within five working days.
New customers please allow 10 days for bank clearance on your remittance before dispatch. Thereafter returning customers may expect dispatch by return of post.

Delivery Charges
Medals-Military -  courier is the Royal Mail. We will be happy to quote for this service. All postage is recorded and signed for.

Insurance
Although we offer a worldwide export scheme, and trust and rely on the delivery system used to work properly, it must be understood that items are sent entirely at the customer's own risk. We will package the items well to prevent damage, and obtain all relevant despatch documents etc, but in the event of a parcel being lost in transit we will not be liable for such a loss. Insurance, to the limits quoted by the delivery company involved, against loss or damage is included in our quoted delivery prices but offers only minimal cover.

Reserved Goods / Lay away Plan
Subject to a 20% non returnable deposit, goods may be reserved and paid for on a mutually agreed time scale. Default on payment will result in the return of payments made less the initial deposit. Further details on request. Please telephone or us our contact form.

Medals Military are able to provide first class research services into Military and Naval History. Researchers can investigate individual service careers as well as particular periods of Military and Naval History. Research recently undertaken has included: various Officers and Other Ranks of the First World War; the Allied Intervention in Russia; HMS Tartar and RAF pilots in the Battle of Britain.
