M.  Jack Alfred Marriott - 60133- Lovely Original Paperwork and Pictures.  Lived at 117 Knox Rd, Wellington Northants.  Before Transfer to R.A.F. from  R.F.C. - Rank:- A. Mech. 2, Trade:- Rigger.  Origial Medal Entittlement slip.  Royal Air Force Certificate Of Service, Original Medal Boxes - Ribbons - Even the letter they were sent in.  Also has Original Royal Flying Corps Wallet, Comes with a nice Picture Frame which closes up.  Jack is the sergeant in the right of the picture, in the Frame.  Such a nice collection of personal items and medals.  Needs more research. Jack was listed as No 2 Aircraft Depot Royal Flying Corps B E F - France.    The Number 2 Aircraft Park was set up at Candas in July 1915 (to cater for the southern-based squadrons), when the original Aircraft Park at St Omer was unable to keep up with the demands of all of the squadrons on the Western Front. By December 1915 the heavy repair work had grown to such an extent that three new Aircraft Parks were created and the St Omer and Candas sites converted into fixed supply and repair depots, renamed No 1 and No 2 Aircraft Depots.
